Often apprehensive at the start, the beginner divers become more relaxed as the dive goes; and when they finally get excited and point out at all the fish they see through the dive, that really makes my day as a diving instructor.

J'apprécie réellement faire des baptêmes de plongée...De nombreux professionnels les redoutent mais je pense qu'il n'y a rien de plus gratifiant que de voir quelqu'un prendre ses premières bouffées d'air sous l'eau ou découvrir pour la première fois les trésors du monde sous-marins.
Souvent appréhensif au départ, les plongeurs débutants se relaxent au fur et à mesure de la plongée et quand finalement ils s'émerveillent et commencent à pointer du doigt tous les poissons qui passent dans leur champ de vision, ça rend la prof de plongée que je suis heureuse.

Même si certains participants du programme Discover Scuba Diving sont à l'aise sous l'eau, comme cette participante retirant son détendeur et posant pour la photo, ces plongeurs sont encore débutants et non confirmés et une supervision rapprochée et un contact permanent sont nécessaires (remarquez la main de l'instructeur maintenant la valve de la bouteille de plongée)
